World Environment Drive on 7th June 2025

Taking a further step towards making Green Global Vapi, the Green Society of Vapi Industries Association (VIA) will be developing several Pocket Gardens and Green Belts by planting 5000 Nos. of Trees & Plants during this year with the support of Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Notified Area Authority (NAA), Vapi, Vapi Green Enviro Ltd. (VGEL) and Industries Members, as part of the World Environment Drive and Environment Day Celebration on 7th June 2025, Saturday a Pocket Garden admeasuring 575 Mts² at GIDC Char Rasta on the Silvassa Road and the Service Road of NH No. 48 junction by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai Desai, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Finance, Energy & petrochemicals, Govt. of Gujarat. This garden is being developed jointly with Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Notified Area Authority (NAA), Vapi and Bayer Vapi Pvt. Ltd. Further Green Society of VIA with the support of GIDC, and NAA, Vapi will be developing Green Belts on the borders of the Parking Facility being developed by NAA, Vapi below the Flyover of NH No. 48 at Vaishali Char Rasta by planting over 200 Nos. of big trees, the inauguration of this Green Belt is also done by the worthy hands of Shri Kanubhai Desai on this day. Thereafter the inauguration of a Green Belt admeasuring 1250 Mts² from Essel Mining to N R Agarwal Industries was done by the Hon’ble Cabinet Minister. This Green belt will be developed with the support of GIDC, NAA, Vapi and Hubergroup (India) Pvt. Ltd. total 505 Nos. of big tree will be planted at this Green Belt. After the inauguration of the Green Belt, Shri Kanubhai initiated the Tree Planation Drive at the CETP as part of this Environment Drive. CETP Vapi will be doing plantation of 500 Nos. of big trees during this drive.
